The Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive Subaru Forester again topped the SUV Compact sales charts in November, according to official VFACTS figures released today.
Forester sold 1182, maintaining its position as the best-selling SUV Compact year-to-date and also for the month.
The result helped Subaru to 3017 sales, representing a 4.2 per cent market share.
Forester sales combined with 359 Outbacks meant Subaru dominated the SUV Compact segment in November, with a 25.6 per cent share.
In an overall market that declined 22.2 per cent, Forester’s sales were up 4.7 per cent, and are now ahead 15.0 per cent YTD.
Sales of 138 Tribecas were up a massive 160.4 per cent for the month and placed it 30.6 per cent ahead YTD.
Sales of 818 Imprezas and 520 Libertys (Legacys) rounded out the Subaru result.
Subaru Managing Director, Nick Senior, said: “With the newly launched Impreza WRX sedan on sale today, we’re optimistic about December.
“The versatility offered by the All-Wheel Drive models in the Subaru range is highlighted by Forester’s sales and awards success.
“It has picked up two people’s choice awards this week from the Drive.com.au website and the Carsales Network’s various websites.”
