Subaru Australia achieved a four per cent increase in sales year to date with 3123 vehicles sold in August according to official VFACTS figures released today.
Subaruís all-new Forester continued its dominance of the Compact SUV segment with sales of 1534, up 18.9 per cent YTD.
Forester also entered the top ten vehicles list for the first time and was the best selling model across all SUV segments.
When combined with Outback sales of 262 this represents a 27.3 per cent share of the competitive Compact SUV segment.
New generation Impreza also posted strong sales with 857 vehicles, up 12.5 per cent YTD.
Tribeca sales of 96 were up 26.2 per cent YTD and Liberty (Legacy) sales of 374 rounded out the total.
Subaru claimed a four per cent share of the market in August.
