Impreza sales up 24 percent; Legacy sales up 13 percent; 9.6% gain in Retail sales minus Fleet
CHERRY HILL, N.J., March 3, 2008 - Subaru of America, Inc. today reported February sales of 12,907 total units. With retail sales higher than February 2007, both the Impreza and Legacy model lines recorded gains over the same period last year.
Sales of Subaru vehicles are up over the same period in 2007, led by strong sales of the company’s Impreza, Legacy sedan and Tribeca models. February retail sales (not including fleet sales) improved over 9.6% versus prior year. Fleet deliveries are expected to be made up later in the year.
