Subaru sold 3203 vehicles in May, setting a new record for the month, according to official VFACTS figures released today.

Subaru’s sales were 9.5 per cent ahead of May 2006.

Best seller was Forester with 983 sales, followed by Impreza with 859.

Liberty (Legacy) sales of 723 were 15.9 per cent ahead of last May, while Outback sales of 504 were 18.3 per cent up on the same month last year.

Tribeca equalled its best ever month with 134 sales.
