Subaru sales of 2817 vehicles in October included an outstanding Queensland performance, with sales of 598 up 30.9 per cent over the same period last year.
Year-to-date Queensland sales of 5343 are 13.7 per cent up on 2005.
Spearheading Subaru’s success in the sunshine state was Impreza with 239 sales, up 55.2 per cent over the previous October.
Outback sales of 133 were a massive 155.8 per cent ahead, while 93 Liberty (Legacy) sales were 14.8 per cent up.
Other regions also showed impressive results.
In Tasmania, sales of 104 Subarus were 10.6 per cent up on the previous October.
Subaru commanded 26.5 per cent of the Compact SUV segment in Tasmania last month with sales of 47 Foresters up 62.1 per cent.
There was good news in Western Australia too, where 54 Liberty (Legacy) sales were 68.8 per cent up for the month.
Total WA Subaru sales of 2916 were 7.8 per cent ahead of the same period in 2005.
