The Subaru Outback 3.0R rates ahead of three key rivals in a comparison published in today’s Motoring section of The Australian newspaper.
The Australian’s road test of the Nissan Murano ST benchmarks it against Outback 3.0R, Toyota Kluger CVX and Ford Territory TS AWD.
Outback rates four stars overall, ahead of the three others on three and-a-half stars.
Outback also rates four stars for performance, equal with Territory and ahead of Murano and Kluger, on three and-a-half.
For value, Outback, Kluger and Territory rate three and-a-half stars and Murano four.
The comparison says: “The company that invented the crossover still does it best. Six-cylinder Outback crosses over into the prestige market as easily as it handles bush tracks. Knocking on Europe’s door…in our opinion.”
