Rex in a fast reign, says The Canberra times

Feb 23 , 2004 [Australia]
Canberra Times motoring editor Ian Crawford has heaped praise on the MY04 Impreza WRX in Friday's edition of the newspaper.

Crawford describes the manual Impreza WRX's price as "...a great bargain, especially when you compare it with any of Europe's offerings that have anything like the Rex's performance."

He adds: "Today, Subaru sells about 200 WRXs month after month and there is a lot of repeat business from owners who don't want to drive anything else."

Crawford concludes: "The WRX is certainly one of the great performance car bargains of the motoring world.

"It is a delight to drive a car that really enjoys ‘going out to play.'

"With its all-wheel drive system, you can fling the little sedan into corners in a manner few cars can match and it doesn't give you any nasty surprises.

"Well done Subaru!"
