Subaru achieved record September sales of 2617 units, nearly 30 per cent ahead of the same month last year, according to official VFACTS sales figures released today.
The highlights included 931 Forester sales, also a September record for the model.
Impreza achieved a record for the month too, with 679 sales.
Liberty sales of 561 units and Outback with 446 helped take Subaru to a 3.3 per cent market share for the month and 3.6 per cent year-to-date.
Combined Forester and Outback sales gave Subaru a dominant 24.7 per cent of the SUV Compact market, year-to-date.
