Strong November for Subaru Canada

(MISSISSAUGA) - Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) announced strong sales in the month of November, as total retails reached 1,603 units, an increase of 12.0 per cent over the same month last year.

Sales were driven primarily by demand for the all-new 2005 Legacy and Outback lineup. Legacy sales were up 27.7 per cent compared to last November, and Outback sales were up by 46.2 per cent. Forester sales were also robust, increasing by 33.9 per cent for the month.

"The new generation Legacy and Outback offer all the power, handling and quality owners expect from a premium driving experience while remaining true to Subaru's core values," said Norio Osakabe, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Subaru Canada, Inc. "We are delighted by the consumer response to this unique combination of qualities."
