Subaru Legacy/Outback still top with World of Wheels

Feb 27 , 2003 [Canada]
Canadian enthusiast publication World of Wheels has named the Subaru Legacy/Outback its “Editor’s Choice” Station Wagon for an extraordinary fifth consecutive year.

In a rapidly expanding field of wagons, the magazine cited the 2003 Outback/Legacy lineup for its practicality, ease of use, and the choice of model configurations, drivetrains and price.

The magazine’s editors cited the Legacy/Outback’s “value, wide model range, standard All-Wheel Drive, fine safety and reliability records and ‘sheer goodness’ as a wagon” as the qualities that keep them coming back to it year after year as their Editor’s Choice.

The judges chose the Legacy/Outback from an impressive field of wagons including everything from the most economical to high-end offerings. Complete information is available in the World of Wheels annual Car Catalogue, on newsstands now.

“We are delighted that the Legacy and Outback continue to find favour with both critics and customers,” said Norio Osakabe, president, chairman and CEO of Subaru Canada, Inc. “The editors at World of Wheels have nicely summed up everything that we think makes this an excellent lineup. It is an honour and a pleasure to accept a fifth Editor’s Choice award.”
