Subaru achieved its best ever April sales result of 2499 units according to official VFACTS sales figures released this week.

The total means Subaru commanded a 3.6 per cent share last month.

There were also record April sales for some individual Subaru models – Forester sold 979 units. That is 293 ahead of April 2002.

Impreza sold 759 in April, 88 ahead of the corresponding month last year.

Liberty (Legacy) achieved 421 sales and Outback 340.

SubaruÅfs 2003 year-to-date sales now stand at 9421.
