That's the assessment of the new turbocharged Subaru Forester XT, published in the September edition of "Wheels" magazine, out now.

Awarding Forester XT a four and-a-half star rating, Wheels says: "Six-point-six seconds after you've simultaneously freed the brakes and nailed the throttle, you're doing 100km/h; 14.8 seconds later you're 400 metres away. And that's just the auto."

Wheels adds that Forester XT ",,,has what it takes to chew away at the rear bumper of heavy hitters like the XR8, SS, and CV8."
