[Canada] Subaru Outback Named Canadian Black Book Winner Six Years in a Row

(TORONTO) ) - Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is thrilled to announce that its SUV-alternative, the Subaru Outback, has earned a Canadian Black Book (CBB) Best Retained Value Award in the mid-size car segment for the sixth consecutive year.

The 2015 Best Retained Value Awards highlight vehicles shown to hold their value the best based on performance. The awards acknowledge vehicles that retain the highest percentage of their original MSRP after four years. For 2015, this distinctive award program analyzed model year 2011 vehicles in 20 different categories. Widely acknowledged as this country's go-to provider of present and future vehicle values, CBB distributes its values in various formats to dealers, insurance companies and financial institutions as well as consumers on its website, www.canadianblackbook.com.

"The Canadian Black Book awards measure how well a vehicle holds its value, pointing to those that depreciate the least," said Shiro Ohta, chairman, president and CEO of Subaru Canada. "As depreciation is the single greatest cost of vehicle ownership, we are pleased that the Subaru Outback was named a Canadian Black Book Best Retained Value Award winner for its sixth consecutive year."
